Every once in a while, I encounter a practitioner whose understanding of the human body is so exceptional that I find myself recommending him again and again. Dr. Baoku Liu is one of those rare people.

I have personally received treatment from Dr. Liu and have referred many of my own clients to him. I continue to be impressed—not only by his extraordinary skill with acupuncture, but by his ability to understand the body as an interconnected whole. Again and again, clients return to me amazed by what he was able to identify, address, and improve.

Dr. Liu's treatments are unlike conventional, passive acupuncture sessions. His work can be surprisingly precise and sometimes quite intense—but there is a reason I continue sending people to him. The results I have personally experienced and observed in my clients have been remarkable, and often surprisingly long-lasting.

Perhaps just as importantly, despite his tremendous knowledge and skill, I have found Dr. Liu to be genuinely kind and remarkably humble. There is no grandstanding. He simply seems deeply interested in understanding the body and helping the person in front of him.
